Bad Exp @ Pushap on Jean Talon
The Pushap at Namur is excellent in terms of service, ambience and food , but the Pushap @ Jean Talon is best avoided.

We had a very very bad experience at the Pushap on Jean Talon.

Apparently, the restaurant closes at 9 pm. We reached by 8.25, and were served within 10 minutes. We were almost 3/4 way through the meal when we heard the lady talking to people inside saying that we do not seem like the kind who would leave by 9. It was only 8.45 by then. She was standing at the door and talking loudly in hindi. It was obvious she was talking loud on purpose, for us to hear. It was very insulting.

We decided to pay and leave the place without finishing our dinner. When we went up to the counter to pay for the bad experience, she pretended like she had no idea what we were talking about. And she even had the nerve to say "you CAN finish your eating" (as though she was doing us a favour to us by letting us finish our meal)

I am sure there are not many who would want to go through such an unfriendly experience. After all, we go to an Indian restaurant wanting to enjoy the hospitality we enjoy back at home in India. who wants to pay for such an insulting experience ?
